Freaky and I had to leave our Harleys in Maine.  They are in a safe place, but they aren't being ridden.  We were supposed to have a truck for the drive out here.  It didn't end up being fixed in time for our trip out here.  I can't wait to get back to Maine so I can, at least see my bike.  (By the time we get home next year it will probably be too cold to ride.)  It will also be sitting dormant for another season, so it is going to need work to get it back on the road.  Of course, this is why we are in Arizona.  Freaky at MMI. 

He has been asking me to make decisions on what I want him to do to my bike.  What color I want it painted...the type of shocks.  He is trying to talk me into a springer front end.  (Ugh..NO!!)  He also wants me to 'bob' my back fender.  I don't want my bike to look like its stripped down.  I want a solo seat, a bigger gas tank, new pegs and hand-grips, low profile mirrors, new signals and a paint job. I like the frame it has, just lowered would be nice.  I haven't decided on a color yet.  I keep going back and forth in my head.  I need to go pick up some DuPont samples at a local Carquest or something.

I guess, I want to make smaller changes to my bike.  He is going to take it all apart to tweak my engine, so I might as well do some of the other things he wants to do.  I can't ride my bike in the winter in Maine anyway.

Freaky seems to think he is going to teach me to work on bikes too.  I can see myself doing oil changes and things like that, but I don't think I trust myself with electrical or brakes.  He has this idea that he wants to have me build a second bike for myself from the frame up.  (We will see about that.)
